Appeal for Greeters and Ushers
St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Parish is in need of many more Greeters and Ushers for our Saturday evening and Sunday masses. The ministry of Hospitality is crucial to making the experience of Church welcoming and hospitable. These ministers greet, assist in seating and respond to the needs of established and new parishioners and visitors.
ADORATION FOR VOCATIONS
Parishioners are encouraged to spend time before the Blessed Sacrament to pray for vocations. Every Christmas Season, St. Elizabeth Ann Seton will send a spiritual bouquet to our Archbishop in our Archdiocese and the Holy Father in Rome with collected tabulated hours that our parish has offered in our Adoration Chapel praying for this intention. To participate, please post your hours in the "Adoration For Vocations" notebook in the back of the chapel. To see how many hours are currently collected, check this link.

Behold our Lady of Sorrows with our Beloved Lord: as she once held him living under her heart in her body, now she holds him sacrificed for the sins of the world under her heart, cooperating with the work of the Holy Spirit in her, saying always, “Fiat,” “Let it be done unto me according to Thy Word.” The Word of Salvation is first and foremost the Person of Jesus Christ, Himself, the Son of God. May each time we look at the Pieta, may we seek to unite our hearts to Mary’s Immaculate Heart, so that in and through our union with her, we are brought by her to the Sacred Heart of Jesus, that very heart which has given itself for our salvation and the salvation of the world.
